Lalu wary Kejri opts out of Bihar campaign

Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener Arvind Kejriwal, who recently expressed support for his Bihar counterpart Nitish Kumar ahead of the Assembly elections in that state, will not campaign for him in the run-up to the elections. Sources said that Kejriwal developed cold feet following strong opposition from the Bihar unit of his party, which told him in no uncertain terms that any move to support Nitish Kumar, who has joined hands with a tainted Lalu Prasad Yadav, may backfire in the long run and that they themselves may walk out of AAP. There were also worries that joining hands with Nitish and Lalu would adversely impact the party's Bihari vote-bank in Delhi. more
